Green Leaf Senior Living is hiring an Engagement Director to plan and oversee resident activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being. You will lead daily events, supervise staff and volunteers, and coordinate with other departments to ensure safety and engagement.

The role requires creativity, strong communication and organizational skills, and a genuine passion for seniors. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is expected, with a supportive management team and a caring

Qualifications

• Experience in activities programming, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong creativity and ability to design engaging programs.
• Genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to assist in setting up and conducting activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee a comprehensive activities program that meets residents' physical, mental, and social needs.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities, events, and special programs.
• Encourage and maximize resident participation and engagement.
• Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers.
• Prepare and manage materials, supplies, and activity schedules.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure activities are well-coordinated and safe.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and program effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and community standards.
