Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Engagement Director for CAAS in Pasadena, delivering interim and project accounting support across industries. You will lead engagements from planning through close, with a hands-on approach and opportunities to travel.

Role emphasizes balancing career and life, flexible engagements, and access to comprehensive benefits as an hourly employee. CPA preferred but not required; Big Four experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ten years relative work experience including public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Prior project management and exceptional client service management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries on accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles (Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, Internal Audit Manager, etc.).
• Design/improve accounting processes such as: monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations to name a few.
• Take an active and hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
