Leisure Vale Assisted Living in Glendale, CA seeks an Engagement Director to design and manage vibrant activities that support residents’ physical, mental, and social well-being. You will oversee daily events, coordinate volunteers, and partner with departments to ensure safe, engaging programs.

Ideal candidates bring experience in activities programming for seniors, strong leadership, and exceptional communication. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in activities programming, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong creativity and ability to design engaging programs.
• Genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to assist in setting up and conducting activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee a comprehensive activities program that meets residents' needs.

• Encourage and maximize resident participation and engagement.
