Job summary

Vitality Living is hiring an Engagement Coordinator for Seabrook at Murrells Inlet Community to create meaningful resident experiences. You will help plan and promote activities, transport residents, and coordinate outings and events that enrich daily living.

The role emphasizes engaging residents with dementia thoughtfully, building partnerships with the community, and delivering personalized programming. This is a part-time on-site position with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful programming to meet residents, family, and team members' needs.
• Effectively communicate with and engage individuals with Alzheimer's or related dementia to promote their quality of life.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Safely transport residents in the community bus or another vehicle according to schedule.
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle and model successful resident engagement.
• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the broader community to enhance engagement.

Engagement Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance the quality of life for all residents
• Safely transport residents in community bus or another vehicle according to schedule
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle; model appropriate and successful engagement of residents
• Create engagement for residents based on their preferences, experiences, and lifelong interests as reported in the resident life journal
• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the greater community to enhance overall engagement experience for residents
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Engagement Director, or Memory Care Director
