Job summary

PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking an Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Program under the Life Enrichment Therapist. The role focuses on engaging participants in meaningful day center activities such as arts, crafts, outdoor activities, exercise and music.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a social or recreational program, in a healthcare setting for the elderly.
• Activity Assistant Certification is a plus from a recognized body such as NCCAP, or NAPPCC is plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate group and individualized programming and activities designed to meet social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual needs of each participant.
• Assist with escorting participants to activities and community outings.
• Assist in the development of the monthly activities calendar and special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
