Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to develop and monitor the Activities Program for participants. You will design personalized activity plans, collaborate with the IDT, and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the engagement program.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, organizing monthly calendars, and building partnerships with external programs to enhance participants’ social and therapeutic experiences in our senior care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Certification as an Activity Professional is required; three years of related experience may substitute.
• Two years of experience in social, recreational, or educational programs, with healthcare/mentally challenged populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess engagement needs and participate in IDT meetings to develop care plans.
• Create and implement an engaging program including activities and outings.
• Supervise activities, ensure safety, and post a monthly activity calendar.
• Develop relationships with external organizations to support the engagement program.
