Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to develop and monitor the Activities Program for participants. You will collaborate with IDT members to create personalized activity plans that meet social and therapeutic needs and ensure smooth day-center operation.

You will lead assessments, design a diverse engagement calendar, supervise activities, and build partnerships with external organizations to support program goals and participant well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred.
• Activity Professional Certification required; an additional three years of relevant experience may be substituted.
• Two years of experience in a social recreational or educational program within the past five years, one year full-time in an activities program in a health care or mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Engagement assessments to establish social and therapeutic needs, preferences, and goals of participants.
• Develop a comprehensive Engagement Program including individual and group activities and outings.
• Implement and supervise all activities of the Engagement Program, ensuring enjoyment, safety, and appropriateness.
• Develop and post a monthly calendar of the Engagement schedule of activities.
• Cultivate relationships with outside organizations for support to the Engagement Program.
