Job summary

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a specific degree for the position or a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in a related field.
Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor.
Higher education teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of pedagogy and ability to research and analyze data; strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Teach classes as assigned by the supervisor.
Prepare lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
Develop course outlines and syllabi and submit to supervisor.
Maintain professional relationships with students and staff; assist with advising, orientation and registration.
Engage in scholarly activities and participate in college committees and assessment activities.
