Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator to lead Engage Life programs and create meaningful, diverse activities for residents at our Riverview community. You will coordinate events, greet residents, and encourage participation to enhance daily life.

Responsibilities include planning parties, maintaining schedules, and updating records. Some communities require driving a company vehicle. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–6 months related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to individuals or small groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs and a variety of resident activities.
• Develop and implement engaging activity plans for residents, including those confined to rooms.
• Maintain current schedules of events and records of participation.
• Greet new residents and foster social involvement with peers of similar interests.
• Assist in planning parties, decorations, and seasonal/community celebrations.
• Support census-building initiatives and coordinate with volunteers for activities.
• May drive the company vehicle if required by the community.
