Qualifications

• Four years of experience as a Certified Public Safety officer.
• Possess a current Basic Police Certification.
• Must possess a current Supervisory Certification or obtain within 36 months of appointment.
• Must possess a current driver's license and acceptable driving history.
• Background check will be conducted on all new employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, plan, and coordinate activities of assigned personnel.
• May act as shift commander when needed.
• Develop and review office policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain positive communication between subordinates and superiors.
• Assist with investigations as required.
• Prepare written reports and maintain records for operation of the office.
