Job summary

The New York City Conflicts of Interest Board (COIB) is seeking an Enforcement Attorney to independently handle challenging cases across all levels of City government. You will review evidence, draft charges, negotiate settlements, and litigate at the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings.

An ideal candidate will demonstrate sophisticated legal analysis and clear writing, with a strong interest in the workings of New York City government. Admission to the NYS Bar is required.

Qualifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar and good standing.
• One year of U.S. legal experience after bar admission or six months as an Agency Attorney Intern.
• Experience related to conflicts of interest, ethics, or City government is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a variety of cases across City government.
• Review evidence, draft charges, negotiate settlements.
• Litigate cases at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings.
