Job summary
PA Consulting in Denver seeks a Utility Advisor to drive transformation for energy and utility clients. You’ll apply analytics, data and AI to shape strategy, operations and policy considerations while delivering measurable impact.
Hybrid work with 2 days in office per week, travel as needed. You’ll lead or contribute to workstreams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence major utility transactions in North America.
Qualifications
- 3 to 10+ years of utility experience
- Electric, gas, water/wastewater utility or related advisory experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Passion for solving complex problems and driving change in the energy and utilities space
- Interest in strategy, digital transformation, data, and AI applications in utilities
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, gather and interpret data, and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Develop insights and contribute to client deliverables including reports, presentations, and strategic frameworks
- Support and lead stakeholder engagement, workshops, and transformation initiatives; lead workstreams or small engagements
- Contribute to proposals and business development efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and continuous learning
