BCG Attorney Search is seeking a talented attorney in Detroit, MI with 5 to 10 years of experience to join the Government Policy and Practice Group. The role focuses on administrative law, regulatory proceedings, and litigation, with an emphasis on energy and utility matters.

The candidate will handle contested administrative proceedings, engage in regulatory litigation, and develop case strategy while coordinating with partners and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy or utility law preferred.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan required.

Responsibilities

• Handle contested administrative proceedings and evidentiary hearings.
• Engage in regulatory litigation and administrative appeals.
• Develop case strategy and prepare witnesses.
• Draft substantive briefs and motions.
• Advocate effectively before administrative agencies and courts.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and expert witnesses.

Juris Doctor (JD)

Licensed to practice law in Michigan
