Job summary

Augusta University seeks a Facilities Plant Manager to lead plant operations across Health Sciences, Summerville, and Forest Hills campuses. You will direct ~12 trades staff and manage critical energy systems, maintenance, and safety programs to ensure reliable, efficient facility performance.

You will drive operational excellence, supervise work orders, and coordinate with planning teams on construction and energy projects, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years in a maintenance organization with two years in a supervisory role.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead ~12 skilled trades staff across AU Health Sciences campuses.
• Oversee daily plant operations: chilled water, boilers, pumps, HVAC.
• Develop preventive/corrective maintenance procedures and budgets.
• Coordinate emergency responses, projects, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy and performance reporting.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and energy efficiency of facilities.
