Job summary

AIG is seeking an Underwriter II, Energy to help drive profitable growth in the Power and Utility segment. This role focuses on underwriting new and renewal business, assessing risk through broker relations, and leveraging SME input and claims history analysis.

You will expand your broker network, attend events, and provide timely, quality service to brokers to meet the plan. You will also provide accurate monthly management information, including submissions, bind rate, and premium metrics,

Qualifications

• 3+ years underwriting experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business for Power & Utility segments.
• Engage brokers, coordinate with subject matter experts, assess claims history.
