Job summary

Black & Veatch is offering a Consulting Summer Intern position in the Transactions group. You will gather data and provide basic analysis work products to contribute to engagement completion, under team leaders' guidance, while working on multiple engagements related to financing, buy-side and sell-side diligence of power technologies.

This program emphasizes hands-on experience at an employee-owned firm, with mentorship, training, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in accredited university in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field of study.
• No previous experience required.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected).
• This intern position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, data analysis and report-writing for projects.
• Conduct economic and financial studies for utilities, developers and/or independent power producers (IRP, feasibility, pricing, asset valuation, etc).
• Project development including project structuring and developing/reviewing/negotiating project agreements.
• Individual contributor with no subordinates.
