Energy Transaction Trader (Assoc / Mid-Level / Sr)

Location: Portland, OR

Company: PacifiCorp

General Purpose: Collaborate with Energy Supply Management personnel to develop strategies to optimize available generation assets such as thermal, hydro, and wind to reduce Net Power Costs. Manage bid submissions for resources participating in Energy Imbalance Market, or any other formal independent system operator or regional transmission organization. Monitor the dispatch of the Company’s generating assets on an hourly basis, including use of limited resources and renewable resources to reduce Net Power Costs.

Responsibilities:
