Job summary

Uniper seeks a Middle Office Analyst for its North American team to oversee trading activities, portfolio performance, positions, valuations and related risks. The role interfaces with Front Office, Risk, and Control functions to deliver timely Risk and P&L reporting.

You will develop a strong understanding of the trading portfolio, contribute to daily activities, support reporting and valuation processes, and help automate reporting workflows.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related quantitative field.
• Experience in product control, risk management or similar in commodity trading.
• Knowledge of US natural gas markets is advantageous.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and data skills with deadline-driven delivery.
• Experience with Endur, SQL, BI tools and Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and analysis of trading activities, portfolios, positions, valuations and risks.
• Prepare daily P&L reports and analyze drivers, market moves and trading activity.
• Ensure accuracy of market prices used in daily reporting.
• Monitor data flows, drive automation and process improvements.
• Support validation of positions/valuations and month-end close.
• Assist with reporting enhancements, controls and methodologies.
