Pilot Company invites a curious student to join our Energy Trade Risk/Mid Office team in Houston, TX for Summer 2027. You’ll help coordinate between trading desks and downstream functions such as credit, accounting, settlements, treasury, and confirmations.

You will report on positions, risk, and financial performance to support decision making and improve process efficiency across the energy trading lifecycle. This internship is full-time, in-person, and located at our Houston campus.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Experience or interest in Energy is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities; proficient in Excel.

• Navigate end-to-end commodity flows from acquisition to final settlement.
• Coordinate cross-functional operations between trading desks and downstream partners.
• Maintain operational control and accuracy by resolving trade discrepancies.
• Deliver high-impact commercial reporting with clear position and risk insights.
• Support risk integration and back-office processes across the supply chain.
