Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a related field (Chemical/Systems/Industrial Engineering etc.).
  • 3–4 years of experience in a related research environment.
  • Experience in energy systems analysis and interdisciplinary research.
  • Strong technical writing and research design skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support junior researchers and manage multiple activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interdisciplinary research in energy systems modeling and analysis including LCA, technoeconomic analysis, optimization and ML techniques.
  • Prepare manuscripts for publication and contribute to proposals.
  • Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance on research methods and workflows.
  • Coordinate research activities, timelines, and lab resources; maintain HPC allocations.
  • Promote reproducible computational practices and collaboration across groups.
