Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking highly motivated engineering interns for a 2027 program to work in person at our Dresden plant in Morris, IL. Interns will complete ~10 weeks of paid, hands-on projects under supervision and a technical mentor.

Successful candidates are enrolled in an engineering bachelor's or master's program with GPA requirements and a proven track record of academic excellence, leadership, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering program for Fall 2027.
• Majors include Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 cumulative and 3.0 major.
• Track record of outstanding academic performance.
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Internships will last ~10 weeks from June 7 to August 13, 2027.
• Projects include Cooling Tower Drone Inspections, Nuclear Core Analysis, Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump, Thermal Overload Calculation for Motor Operated Valves, Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrade, Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater, Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project.
