Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability & Energy Project Manager to lead strategic energy, renewable, and sustainability initiatives across the organization. You will plan, manage, and deliver projects that reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and support corporate sustainability goals.

You will work cross-functionally with facilities, real estate, finance, procurement, and leadership to develop business cases, manage budgets, evaluate PPAs and ESAs, and ensure

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, and implementation of renewable energy projects including onsite solar PV, storage, and other clean energy initiatives.
• Assist solar development activities, including site assessments, feasibility studies, permitting support, vendor coordination, and project execution.
• Evaluate and negotiate PPAs, ESAs, and other renewable energy procurement strategies.
• Identify and manage building energy efficiency projects such as HVAC optimization, lighting upgrades, and building automation.
• Develop project business cases with capital estimates, lifecycle cost analysis, ROI, NPV, payback, and total cost of ownership.
• Support LEED certification, green building initiatives, and sustainable construction projects.
• Coordinate sustainability reporting and disclosure programs (GHG inventories, ESG reporting, CDP, Ecovadis).
• Develop, monitor, and report sustainability KPIs, energy metrics, and executive dashboards.
• Collaborate with utility providers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies on incentives, rebates, and grants.
• Use AI-powered analytics and project management tools to improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and efficiency.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks, procurement, and stakeholder communications from initiation through completion.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, energy codes, and sustainability standards.
• Continuously evaluate emerging clean energy technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
