Job summary

Alamo Cement Company is seeking a Manager, Strategic Commodities & Energy to lead commodity strategy across its highest-impact input spend categories, including energy and raw materials. This leadership role involves direct management of Commodity Managers and overseeing procurement strategies while negotiating large-scale contracts. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in procurement and management, alongside strong analytical and negotiation skills.

The position requires travel across the company's various plant locations in the United States and aims to align commodity strategies with operations and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement or commodity management experience, with 3-5 years in leadership.
• Experience negotiating large-scale commodity contracts.
• Familiarity with electricity market structures like PJM or ERCOT.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year commodity strategies for energy and input materials.
• Manage and mentor Commodity Managers.
• Lead supplier negotiations for energy and fuel contracts.
