Job summary

Peak Energy in Burlingame, CA seeks a Systems Integration and Test Engineering Intern to support integration testing of energy storage systems across BMS, inverters, and power electronics. You will help expand benchtop and HIL test capabilities and collaborate with firmware, design, and simulation teams through the full test lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience interfacing with microcontrollers and scripting for tests.
• Familiarity with electromechanical test setups.
• Proficiency in Python or similar language.
• Hands-on with hardware and lab equipment.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support functional testing of BMS, inverters, and other systems.
• Design, set up, and run benchtop and HIL test setups for BMS validation.
• Develop and execute test scripts to support test automation.
• Assist in developing test plans and procedures for electrical/mechanical systems.
• Interface with design, simulation, and manufacturing engineering partners.
• Analyze test data and document findings for engineering teams.
• Support troubleshooting and diagnosis during testing.
• Participate in rapid prototyping and testing culture.
