Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience authoring technical requirements and test specifications for complex electromechanical or energy systems.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or similar).
  • Systems Engineering certification (e.g., INCOSE CSEP).
  • Experience with high-voltage battery or power electronics validation test methods.
  • Background in MBSE practices.
  • 5+ years of experience authoring technical requirements and test specifications for complex electromechanical or energy systems.
  • Test data management systems.
  • Hybrid/office environment depending on program needs.
  • Occasional travel with training and PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, unambiguous, verifiable, and testable engineering requirements at the system, subsystem, and component levels.
  • Ensure requirements follow proper structure (shall-statements, single-thought, measurable acceptance criteria) consistent with systems engineering best practice.
  • Decompose top-level customer and regulatory requirements into detailed technical requirements allocated to specific subsystems/components.
