Job summary

Lightshift Energy is seeking a Project Development Manager to support strategic development of utility-scale energy storage projects. You will drive land acquisition, oversee development from inception to NTP, and coordinate with engineers, regulators and partners to advance project scope and site design.

You will work with a team to manage permitting, interconnection rights, and stakeholder engagement while traveling as needed to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have experience identifying viable project sites and leading land acquisition for project development.
• Experience with pre-NTP development workstreams culminating in approvals with state/local authorities.
• Excellent project management, planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead land acquisition efforts, siting campaigns and identify viable project sites.
• Lead projects through development lifecycle from inception to Notice to Proceed.
• Create project management plans for Lightshift team use.
• Manage project permitting challenges at federal, state and local levels.
• Ensure interconnection rights are secured and advanced for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts on project scope and site design.
• Provide research and due diligence on officials, regulators, utilities, RTOs and stakeholders.
• Support battery supply and EPC partners from design to contract execution.
