A leading utility-scale energy solutions provider is seeking a Project Developer to support utility-scale energy storage project development in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, knowledgeable about US energy markets. Responsibilities include identifying project sites, securing permits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive clean energy projects forward. The position offers a base salary of $75,000 to $95,000 with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify viable project sites and lead land acquisition.
• Comfortable working with local communities and authorities.
• Desire to develop project sites and identify energy storage market opportunities.
• Quick learner, ownership of tasks, proactive in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable project sites and support land acquisition.
• Work on project scope and site design with team.
• Support permitting challenges as they arise.
• Secure interconnection rights for projects.
• Provide research and due diligence support throughout the development process.
• Support battery supply and EPC partners from design to contract execution.
