SOLV Energy is seeking a Director of Engineering, Energy Storage to lead its Energy Storage Engineering team. This role is responsible for overseeing energy storage system designs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving innovation.

The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in engineering focused on energy storage or power systems and at least 5 years in management. The position can be fully remote or hybrid with regular presence in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on Energy Storage or power systems.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in management.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers focused on energy storage systems.
• Oversee development of Energy Storage engineering standards.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices.
