Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, seeks an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support our Energy Solutions group in Orlando. You will help perform audits, energy analyses, and reporting across performance contracting projects, with opportunities to lead aspects of our work as you grow.

Ideal candidates have a background in HVAC design and commissioning, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and a self-motivated, client-focused approach. This role develops within Legence’s energy engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience in energy services/consulting engineering preferred.
• Strong background in HVAC design and commissioning is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits.
• Perform energy analyses and savings calculations.
• Write reports on project aspects and findings.
• Attend meetings with Project Manager and clients.
