Job description

• Collaborate with Sales teams to evaluate project scope and customer needs
• Work with the Field Specialist team to perform site audits of viable lighting, HVAC, and other ECM solutions
• Develop detailed cost estimates for energy solutions, including materials, labor, and implementation expenses
• Assist in preparing proposals, bid documents, and financial analyses to support sales efforts
• Source and secure competitive pricing from material suppliers and labor vendors
• Analyze utility rebate programs and incorporate incentives into cost estimates
• Work with Sales and Solutions teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment with customer expectations
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and cost fluctuations related to energy solutions
• Maintain organized records of estimates, project costs, and vendor pricing for future reference

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of lighting, HVAC, and energy efficiency measures
• Experience in cost estimation for energy solutions or construction projects
• Proficiency in software and tools such as Bluebeam, Eco Insight and SnapCount
• Ability to analyze project specifications and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (or Google equivalents)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost assessment
• Ability to travel up to 25% for site visits and customer meetings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy solutions estimation or a related field (preferred)
