Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Energy Services Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. You will support a wide range of engineering projects to contribute to safe, reliable energy and develop technical skills in energy, power, and renewables engineering.

This internship provides exposure to real-world engineering tasks, including site layouts, technical reports, data collection, and collaboration with project teams under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work with a team and independently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing plan details, outlines, drawings, and site layouts for pipelines, transmission lines, grading, drainage, and renewable energy infrastructure.
• Support preparation of technical specifications, engineering reports, and project recommendations.
• Assist with material quantity take-offs and gathering budgetary quotes for cost estimating.
• Review design drawings within defined limits and support quality control efforts.
• Contribute to conceptual design activities and support elements of final project design.
• Utilize AutoCAD or other design tools to support project deliverables.
• Perform field tests, measurements, and data collection with focus on data integrity.
• Use data acquisition tools and instrumentation to support research and field assessments.
• Assist with construction oversight tasks, including field observations and daily reports.
