Job summary

SAI Communications in Salem, NH is seeking an Energy Services Drafter to produce detailed drawings for buildings and projects using CAD software. The role requires analyzing codes, coordinating civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs, and visiting sites for data collection.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in Drafting and at least three years of related experience, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings for buildings, structures and projects using CAD.
• Study building codes and regulations and apply them to designs.
• Organize civil, structural, electrical and mechanical designs.
• Draw plans for foundations, buildings and structures from engineers' and architects' instructions.
• Visit jobsites to gather data for designs.
• Calculate material quantities and assist with cost estimates and project documents.
• Support architects in generating contracts and other project documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
