Job summary

South Central FS in Effingham, IL is seeking a service-oriented candidate to perform LP and fuel tank servicing, assist the energy team, and back up delivery duties. The role requires a CDL with Hazmat endorsement and CTEP certification, with a strong emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years or more of experience.
• Must obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must obtain and maintain CTEP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs, complete service per instructions, and document results.
• Plumbing/cleaning/painting/servicing LP and fuel tanks as required.
• Organize and stock the part room and LP service shop.
• Assist the service team as directed by Energy Service Manager.
• Set up fuel and propane tanks and assist in maintenance of tanks.
• Serve as backup propane/fuel delivery driver during peak demand or absences.
