Purpose and Summary

Install and maintain customer and division liquid gas systems.

Essential Job Functions
  • Install and maintain liquid gas systems for customers and the company.
  • Schedule work efficiently to ensure cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain department equipment and vehicles for safety and proper operation.
  • Conduct pressure tests to ensure system integrity before service or after interruptions.
  • Maintain records of regulators, including manufacturing dates, and replace regulators as needed.
  • Perform leak tests on customer systems as required.
  • Keep records of company-owned tanks and equipment.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other proprietary software for order processing, scheduling, inventory, and communication.
Other Job Functions
  • Support other areas of the business, including agronomy teams in the warehouse, as needed.
  • Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and safety policies, including OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • May need to drive for local errands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of related experience with propane systems.
  • Achieve and maintain above-ground tank installation certification.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in business, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions and at heights, with safety precautions for dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours.
  • Willingness to participate in training related to company policies and job requirements.
  • Employment contingent on background checks, drug tests, driving records, and references, as applicable.
