Job summary

iShare Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to analyze business processes in the energy sector, gather requirements, and document solutions. The role emphasizes stakeholder management and close collaboration with product and tech teams.

The role requires 4+ years BA experience, strong process-mapping and requirements skills, and willingness to work onsite in Houston. Prior energy/commodity-trading exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience documenting BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery.
• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of energy sector processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to understand needs and objectives.
• Lead workshops and interviews to gather requirements.
• Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps and risks.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps and procedures.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and design docs.
• Translate requirements into clear specs for delivery teams.
• Coordinate with product owners, developers, architects, testing, and users.
• Support solution design, testing, UAT, implementation, and change management.
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure delivery meets expectations.
• Provide regular project updates and resolve requirement-related issues.
