Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking an Energy & Risk Management Inspector to conduct detailed home energy audits and risk inspections across RESNET/Energy Star guidelines, from footing to turnover.

You will perform field inspections with builders, operate blower door tests, duct leakage and ventilation testing, and document findings while traveling within a 100-mile radius around Myrtle Beach, SC.

Qualifications include RESNET certifications, HVAC/home remodeling experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have HVAC, home remodeling or construction experience.
• RESNET/HERS certifications required or to be obtained.
• Must be able to obtain ACI G1 field testing certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits per RESNET/Energy Star guidelines.
• Conduct field inspections through multiple construction phases.
• Operate testing equipment (blower door, duct leakage, ventilation, pressure tests).
• Coordinate with field operations and clients to ensure milestones and documentation.
