Job summary

StoneX Group is seeking an Energy Risk Management Consultant to join our commercial energy team in Omaha. The role focuses on developing client relationships, educating on energy trading and risk management, and building a profitable book through consultancy and futures income.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel as needed. A Bachelor’s degree and Series 3 license are required, with company sponsorship for the license.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, prospects and contacts potential clients to educate them on energy trading and risk management.
• Build a book of business consisting of consultancy program income as well as energy futures trade income.
• Analyzes individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks.
• Attends trade conferences, seminars and symposiums to represent products, increase contact with existing client base and identify new opportunities.
• Executes futures, options and Swaps that support energy risk management strategies.
• Educate and inform customers of hedge opportunities.
