Job summary

2020 Companies is hiring Retail Sales Associates to promote NRG energy services at Walmart stores and other retailer locations. You will engage customers, explain energy options, and help customers lower energy costs, with paid training and uncapped commission opportunities.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and meeting monthly sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Health benefits and a 401k match are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis.
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products.
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
• Document and report sales accurately.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
• Keep workstation/kiosk clean, well-organized, functional and presentable.
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
