Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking an Apprentice/Journey level Quality Control Technician at Burlington Generating Station to perform chemical analyses and support regulatory reporting. You will collect data, prepare reports, and operate lab instruments while ensuring safe handling of chemicals.

The role may require travel to other plant locations for training and operational support. A valid driver’s license and Basic math/chemistry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Quality Control Technician Apprenticeship and pass final examination.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab work, tests and analyses for electric generating station operation.
• Prepare reports and station statistics, maintain records and paperwork.
• Report environmental data and ensure compliance with regulations.
