Job summary

Veolia North America in Boston is seeking a Project Structurer to develop accurate cost models for long-term O&M contracts in microgrids, behind-the-meter power, and energy infrastructure projects. You will work with project developers and operations teams to define scopes, budgets, and mobilization plans.

The ideal candidate has deep O&M knowledge, strong financial modeling skills, and experience with service agreements or PPPs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
10–15 years of energy/utilities O&M experience in industrial, institutional, or mission-critical markets.
Experience supporting service agreements, DBOO project delivery models, or PPP.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate, competitive cost models, maintenance estimates and staffing plans for long-term O&M contracts (microgrids, behind-the-meter generation, BESS).
Build and maintain a benchmark database to set wage rates and model personnel availability for due diligence.
Model maintenance requirements and develop annual budgets including SLAs and third-party services.
Collaborate with project developers to define scopes, maintenance limits, LTSA interfaces and make-vs-buy analyses.
Support engineering, construction and capital teams in scoping and estimating projects.
Identify risks and craft mitigation strategies to support successful execution.
Work with operations teams to leverage data, develop mobilization plans and cost estimates for start-up and operations.
