Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Project Manager II to join our Energy Group. You will lead complex energy projects from initiation to closeout, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality meet client expectations.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and effective management of client relationships, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to business growth in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting energy, utility, civil infrastructure, engineering, or related projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, client communications, and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy-related projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client requirements.
• Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and project documentation.
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify, communicate, and resolve risks, issues, and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, GIS, survey, environmental, permitting, and construction support staff.
• Ensure project deliverables meet Woolpert quality standards and client expectations.
