Job summary

Otter Tail Power Company in Fergus Falls, MN is looking for a Project Manager I or II to lead generation-related projects from development through construction and closeout. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk across the full lifecycle.

You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder communication, coordinating with internal teams and outside vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PM I: ~2+ years of project management or related experience.
• PM II: ~5+ years of project management experience coordinating multiple or complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from development through construction and turnover.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture with plans and practices for all teams.
• Develop and maintain schedules; coordinate workforce and manage risks affecting timelines.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts; track variances and ensure cost control.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and coordination of consultants and vendors.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders on permitting and compliance.
• Provide timely project updates and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
