Energy Transfer is seeking a Specialist/Analyst to support cost controls on engineering projects in a dynamic environment. The role focuses on evaluating cost impacts of scope changes, contract values, and design unknowns, with close collaboration to project managers and analysts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2–8 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial software. Office-based role with occasional travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong MS Excel and Office proficiency required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to analyze, judge, and challenge project activity professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost controls support on projects with Engineering Project Managers.
• Communicate cost impact of scope changes and contract values to leadership.
• Code and track invoices, incl. retainage, and monitor Actuals vs Commitments.
• Develop monthly project forecasts and quarterly accruals.
• Track purchases orders, contracts, and project documentation.
• Support ad-hoc requests as needed.
