Job summary

Google is seeking an Energy Product Manager to lead end-to-end development of cutting-edge energy technologies. You will drive concepts into scalable projects, collaborating across engineering, research, and business teams to deliver pilots and demonstrations.

The role emphasizes techno-economic modelling, test planning, and partnerships with academia, startups, and labs to accelerate deployment. You will shape product strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Experience developing and leading energy projects.

Responsibilities

Define overarching goals, execution roadmap and executive-aligned milestones.
Guide projects from experiments to prototypes, addressing technical and regulatory hurdles.
De-risk initiatives via risk assessments, market scoping and techno-economic studies.
Own budget and resources; foster partnerships to support pilots and operations.
Collaborate with Research AI teams to integrate AI-for-science tools.
