Job summary

Citi is seeking a Corporate Banking Associate in the UK Natural Resources sector to provide capital structure expertise and corporate finance advice to a global client base. You will originate and execute financing transactions, collaborating with Capital Markets, Derivatives, and Trade Finance teams across the EMEA region.

You will engage CFOs and Treasury teams, develop tailored client materials, and contribute to deal execution while mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in corporate banking or capital markets.
• Sector experience in Energy, Power and Commodity Trading.
• Credit analysis ability and financing transaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise Energy, Power and Commodity Trading clients on capital structure, financing strategy, and corporate finance solutions.
• Lead origination and execution of episodic and strategic financing transactions across the EMEA region.
• Develop client pitch materials and financial analyses to support transaction execution.
• Conduct credit analysis and risk assessment of existing and prospective relationships.
• Collaborate with product partners across Capital Markets, Derivatives, Trade Finance, and Lending.
• Monitor market trends to deliver market-leading content and advise clients.
