Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Energy and Power team. The role analyzes, develops and presents options for technology integration into program delivery, delivering AI-enabled insights, real-time data, and dashboards for client data.

The candidate will distill complex business issues for varied audiences, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to improvements across departments while upholding Jacobs’ professional standards and hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience as a business or technical analyst with demonstrated work products.
• Ability to work in teams and actively participate in making decisions and show problem-solving capabilities.
• Capable of analyzing complex issues and evaluating alternatives to achieve quality solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are critical.
• Strong detail orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Must have the ability to contribute to a team environment and work across multiple departments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of technical options, systems and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Organizes data, graphs and other material in a logical format and executes reporting as needed on a regular interval.
• Compares data to established norms to verify consistent updates and validity to baseline data.
• Reviews published reports, materials and recommends revisions or changes in data, format, or content.
• Performs data analysis and organizes data for ease of viewing via software tools.
