Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related field.
• Experience with electric utilities or regulatory analysis is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supports development of the Ten-Year Site Plan for filing with the Florida Public Service Commission.
• Monitors regulatory developments and changes in utility and planning regulations.
• Maintains a database of pending state and federal legislation affecting energy policy.
• Prepares and updates position papers and talking points on legislation and regulations.
• Develops and distributes communication materials (brochures, newsletters, white papers).
• Tracks regulatory actions and coordinates filings with company personnel and industry groups.
• Coordinates with legal counsel on external filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Produces summary reports on federal and state regulatory requirements.
