Job summary

Unknown Energy PE in Houston seeks a VP of Finance to lead financial modeling, budgeting and treasury support for an onshore energy portfolio.

You will develop investment analyses, run corporate models, prepare cash flow forecasts, and assist the CEO with ad hoc board reports. Requires 5–10 years total experience in energy investing, with PE or IB background, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree is preferred.
• Requires five to ten years of total experience to include energy investment experience at a private equity firm.
• Prior investment banking experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Strong financial modeling experience is required.
• Passion for energy industry investing and operations is a must.

Responsibilities

• Create financial models and presentations used to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Run the corporate model.
• Prepare and present the annual budget.
• Support operations executives with analysis of results.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Assist the CEO with cash management and treasury activities.
• Support the CEO with ad hoc analysis for board presentations.
