Job summary

TC Energy seeks a Student Intern to support natural gas scheduling, commercial operations, and market analysis activities. You will gain hands-on experience in scheduling, transport, storage optimization, and energy trading support, collaborating with experienced professionals in a fast-paced commercial environment.

This role provides hands-on experience supporting commercial marketing within the natural gas business.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Economics or related degree program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support natural gas marketing activities for an assigned operating region.
• Assist with transaction entry and administration within the ENDUR Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system.
• Support transport and storage optimization activities.
• Analyze market information and support discussions related to natural gas market fundamentals.
• Assist with commercial reporting, data validation, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support daily business activities and commercial decision‑making.
