Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in energy market analysis/fundamentals required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI and Excel.
• Ability to translate market data into strategic insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing fundamental analysis, forecasting, and market intelligence focused on North American natural gas and global LNG markets.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance quantitative models and forecasting methodologies for natural gas, LNG, pricing, storage, and infrastructure.
• Monitor macroeconomic, geopolitical, regulatory, and infrastructure developments and assess implications for energy markets and strategy.
• Produce market outlooks, supply-demand balances, price forecasts, and strategic assessments for executive decision-making.
• Transform datasets into actionable insights through analytics, databases, and data visualization.
• Collaborate across commercial, marketing, risk, and business development to translate market intelligence into decisions.
• Support mergers, asset valuations, and infrastructure opportunities with market research and forecasting.
• Prepare executive briefings and reports communicating market developments, risks, and opportunities.
• Establish analytical standards and forecasting methodologies to drive accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Manage, mentor, and develop analysts to sustain a high-performing research environment.
